Showing Teeth have premiered a new music video for their debut single, Labyrinth.
The track features Periphery drummer Matt Halpern as a special guest.
Originally released this past November, the song was envisioned by the artist to convey the emotional struggle of self-acceptance and people-pleasing.
'The verses are an angry outburst of grief,' the artist notes, 'for the parts of myself I've given so freely to feel accepted.'
In contrast, Labyrinth offers a sense of bliss when finding the right support system and embracing individuality.
Regarding the music videos creation, the artist explains: '
Labyrinth is a sad yet fun expression... I told Carly (Gnarly Media) my idea and the timeline...'
The production process involved a remarkably fast filming schedule, where both the artist and the cinematographer worked diligently to capture every moment within an extremely short time frame.
