Veteran Hardcore Band Blood for Blood Returns with New Track After 21 Years
Blood for Blood have signed a deal with Roadrunner Records to resume their active career. The Boston-based band has released their first new single in over two decades, titled Youre Gonna Have To Kill Me.
Frontman Rob Lund spoke about the track, stating, Its a straight-up-the-pipe Blood for Blood song. Initially, it critiques the fascination with criminality and outlaw culture in pop culture. However, the song ultimately reaches a more positive note and may even be uplifting, according to Lund.
The band also commented on their broader comeback and renewed creative drive. In a statement, they said, Blood for Blood have returned from exile with new music and new live dates. Were proud to say weve signed with Roadrunner Records, and our new single Youre Gonna Have To Kill Me is streaming everywhere now.
A freshly announced spring tour schedule includes live dates alongside Skarhead, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday, December 12th at 10:00am local time. The tour stops include Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New York, and Los Angeles.
The band will also perform a show in Detroit on May 30th and have an upcoming appearance at Revolution Calling in Eindhoven on November 20th.
