Tony Iommi Reflects on 2025, Shares Glimpse of Upcoming Solo Album

The legendary Black Sabbath guitarist has released a four-minute New Year's Day video, in which he reflects on the past year and provides insight into his upcoming musical endeavors.

2025 was a year that will be remembered for several notable events, including Iommi's highly publicized reunion with the band's original lineup for a final farewell performance last July. This historic event marked an emotional sendoff to Iommi's long-time partnership with Black Sabbath, but it was soon followed by the loss of Ozzy Osbourne, the band's iconic frontman.

Iommi addressed these losses and other significant moments from 2025 in the video clip, which also touches on his collaboration with Robbie Williams and other projects.

In a nod to fans, Iommi confirmed that his long-awaited third solo studio album is finally set to be released in 2026. The guitarist expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating: 'I shall have definitely, definitely my solo album out.'

The documentary currently under development by Gibson, centering around Iommi's life and career, adds another exciting aspect to his forthcoming endeavors.
