Mike Embro, the original drummer of Canadian thrash metal legends Razor, has sadly passed away at the age of sixty-three.
A crucial figure in Razor's history, Embro was a member of the band from 1983 and contributed to their first four albums, including 'Executioner's Song,' 'Evil Invaders,' 'Malicious Intent' and 'Custom Killing.'
He departed the band in 1987 but returned in a way on the band's highly anticipated 2022 album, 'Cycle Of Contempt,' where he provided backing vocals.
Prior to joining Razor, Embro performed with Wrathchild alongside Razor guitarist Mike Carlo, and later played with Illumination and 10 Carden Street.
