Retromorphosis Debut Single 'The Tree' Reveals Haunting Themes

Swedish death metal collective Retromorphosis has released their latest single, the ominous 'The Tree'.

The forthcoming debut album of the new project is titled 'Psalminus Mortis', slated for release on February 21st via Season Of Mist.

Guitarist Jonas Bryssling shed some light on the song's narrative theme, explaining:

'There's a theory that all human consciousness is connected like the nodes on a tree.'

The track tells the story of an ambitious individual who attempts to exploit this connection, only to irreparably harm the very system he sought to exploit.

With 'The Tree', Retromorphosis solidifies its position at the forefront of modern Swedish death metal with haunting melodies and thought-provoking lyrics.
