Mystic Festival Expands Lineup and Reveals Daily Rosters

The Mystic Festival 2025 lineup continues to grow with several new bands and daily roster announcements.

Analysing the soundscapes, Imminence brings their visionary take on metalcore from Sweden, marrying metal with hip-hop and ska elements. SiM, also known as Silence iz Mine, hail from Japan, where they've spent 20 years crafting their own musical genre, blending metal with hip-hop and even ska for fans familiar with the Attack on Titan anime.

Puporting progressive rock's resurgence in contemporary music, Port Noir are a prime example of the style. Other virtuosic bands contributing to the sound of this decade include Unprocessed from Finland and Split Chain from Britain, both delivering unique approaches to traditional heavy genres through aggressive metalcore infused with shoegaze elements.

Faetooth, consisting of performers hailing partly from California and partly from the world of night, offer their particular approach by bringing the element of doomgaze into their sound alongside others including Slomosa. Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol combines an American take on musical sounds with a Texas touch, while HR's distinct voice is complemented by powerful instrumentation to weave an ethereal melody amidst darkness. The Canadian band Thantifaxath are not only of diabolical pedigree but also devilishly complex, embodying elements of King Crimson and black metal in their dark soundscapes.

Hatebreed's aggressive sound stems from the combination of Slayer's strength with American hardcore ferocity when coupled with a strong presence on stage. The British quartet plays a fast-paced heavy metal music that brings back memories of Venom, Motrhead, and Sabbat. Castle Rat's traditional classic sound features the Rat Queens fierce swordplay and sharp heavy/doom Metal. Likewise, Bewitcher sends forth devilish soundtracks with their devilish speed'n'roll, while Hellripper is akin to full-speed thrash music rivaling its peers.

Asthetic and soulful metal will be found through various bands like Inhuman Nature from London with unmissable metal riffs reminiscent of Led Zeppelin. Classic heavy rock sounds, reminiscent of the 70s by American roots, shall be provided by Bad Touch drawing the line between past and present music elements at once. Stoner, doom, sludge and desert storms find their place too amongst this festival, thanks to bands including Elder who draw inspiration from the psychedelic with doom metal elements but instead brings vibrant colors of rainbow through their unique sound.

From deathcore to black metal, the lineup showcases an incredibly diverse range of genres. Vader's newest material continues its uncompromising edge and brings back Litany for further thrashing, accompanied by Necrot bringing forth death riffs from graveyard cemeteries. A lesson in brutal yet technical death metal shall also be offered by Hideous Divinity. The festival rounds out with other artists including King Diamond, Opeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Cradle Of Filth, Turbonegro and numerous others who bring their respective styles to Mystic Festival 2025.
