Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz Stars in Savage Lands' 'Ruling Queen' Music Video
Savage Lands have unveiled a new music video for their track 'Ruling Queen', which features a guest appearance from Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz.
The band, led by drummer Dirk Verbeuren and guitarist Sylvain Demercastel, functions as both a musical project and an artist-run environmental non-profit.
Significantly, a portion of their profits goes toward conservation efforts in Costa Rica and beyond.
Savage Lands' star-studded debut album, Army Of The Trees, is set for release on February 15th via Season Of Mist.
White-Gluz shared her thoughts on collaborating with the band: 'Art and activism converge in a space of meaning, and that is where I choose to stand. Metalheads have always been powerful and passionate people in my eyes.'
Obituary guitarist Kenneth Andrews also contributed to the track and shared his thoughts on the experience, saying: 'It has been my pleasure and honor to be part of this unbelievable project. Let's do our part!'
Verbeuren stated: 'Obviously, it's great when Savage Lands receives support from a huge star like Alissa, but that she also buys into the philosophy behind our organization makes it even better.'
Savage Lands' mission to safeguard the environment in Costa Rica and beyond continues through this collaborative effort.
