Propagandhi Unveils Title Track from 'At Peace', An Album of Existential Despair

Propagandhi has finally returned with their highly anticipated album 'At Peace' after an eight-year hiatus, scheduled for release on May 2nd. The title track is already live on streaming platforms, showcasing the band's signature blend of politically charged lyrics and aggressive riffs.

Guitarist and vocalist Chris Hannah offered insight into the album's themes, stating that everything expressed in the songs still comes from his personal perspective as documented in the 1993 debut album 'How to Clean Everything'. However, with time, the messages have evolved to reflect more despair and existential dread rather than naivety.
Hannah emphasizes that the album was written during a period of great tension leading up to Donald Trump's return to power. This adds immense significance to the release as it was mixed by Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Hot Water Music) at Blasting Room Studios in December 2024.

In a poignant statement, Hannah shares his thoughts on the current state of music, saying that twenty years ago, they had hoped for mass mobilization against the oligarchy. Unfortunately, he believes this movement has diminished and does not foresee a similar revolution in the near future. He expresses hope that he may be proven wrong.
With 'At Peace', Propagandhi is set to deliver an album of intense, thought-provoking music that promises to resonate with fans worldwide.
