Wolves At The Gate has debuted the second single from their forthcoming sixth studio album, Wasteland.
Scheduled to release on May 30th, the metalcore band is giving fans a glimpse into the album's sonic landscape with 'SYNTHETIC SUN'.
In an exclusive statement, vocalist/guitarist Steve Cobucci shed light on the artistic direction behind the track: "As a culture, we're trying to create our own morality, but can't do so without a true moral standard. Rather, we do this individually, which ends up causing chaos. We all fall prey to this mindset. Creating your own morality will cause you to block out any semblance of truth outside of yourself. If you metaphorically block out the actual sun and create a synthetic sun, it will result in a slow and fatal poisoning."
With 'SYNTHETIC SUN', Wolves At The Gate continues their exploration of the human condition, delving into themes of morality, individuality, and the consequences of chasing artificial truth.
