Allegaeon Unveils Music Video for 'Wake Circling Above'
Colorado tech death band Allegaeon has released a new music video for 'Wake Circling Above', coinciding with the recent release of their full-length album 'The Ossuary Lens'.
The song, described by rhythm guitarist Michael Stancel as 'slow and heavy' with 'massive orchestral sections,' serves as an apt reflection of the band's unique blend of technicality and atmospheric depth.
Stancel reveals that the idea for the song was sparked in a group chat between vocalist Ezra Haynes, who sought to create something distinct from the rest of the album. Drawing inspiration from bands such as Dimmu Borgir and Septicflesh, Stancel crafted intricate instrumental arrangements and textured sonic elements.
