Primal Fear Unveils 'Far Away' Music Video From Upcoming Album 'Domination'

German power metal band Primal Fear has unveiled the music video for their new single 'Far Away', which is part of their upcoming album 'Domination', set to be released on September 5, 2025 via RPM Records.
The lead single features the signature elements of a classic Primal Fear anthem, including soaring melodies, thunderous drums and bass, and a blistering twin-guitar solo. The track also carries a powerful sense of yearning, brought to life by Ralf Scheepers' unmistakable vocals.
Filmed at Kangaroo Studios in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany, where the 'Domination' recording sessions took place in late 2024, the music video is now available on YouTube.
Scheepers explains the meaning behind the single: 'It's an expression of faith and trust, no matter where or what. We all know this feeling of missing someone so much, not being able to see or hear them every day - especially as musicians whilst touring.'
The band, founded by Mat Sinner (bass, vocals) and Ralf Scheepers (vocals), celebrate nearly three decades of relentless music-making with the 'Domination' album. Joined by gifted guitarist Thala Bellazecca and former touring drummer Andr Hilgers, the quintet were more than up for the challenge.
The album features 13 tracks, including the hard-hitting opener 'The Hunter' and upbeat closer 'A Tune I Won't Forget'. The album was recorded in autumn 2024, produced by Mat Sinner and co-produced by Ralf Scheepers as well as Magnus Karlsson. The final track was mastered by Jacob Hansen at his own studios in Denmark.
Primal Fear have never let down their global fanbase over the years, ensuring that no two albums sound the same. Expectations for this release were higher than ever, following the success of 2023's 'Code Red', which hit some of the highest chart positions in their career. With 'Domination', no obstacle is too great for Primal Fear's powerhouse songwriting trio - Sinner, Scheepers, and guitarist Magnus Karlsson.
From 'The Hunter' and first single 'Far Away,' to uplifting mid-tempo anthem 'Tears Of Fire' and the epic ballad 'Eden', featuring a surprise guest appearance by Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum. The full tracklisting includes 13 tracks:
