Seven Hours After Violet Shares Hope Through New Music Video 'Float'
Seven Hours After Violet, a collaborative project featuring members of System Of A Down, Winds Of Plague, and Left To Suffer, among others, has released a new music video for their track 'Float'.
The band's intention behind creating the song was to address the issue of mental health, specifically suicide, while also conveying the importance of hope. In an interview with the group, their lead vocalist Shavo Odadjian stated,
'The song is about the push and pull between pain and recovery.'
Adding to the sentiment, Taylor Barber, the frontman, explained,
'Float' is a reflection of the feeling of waking up with depression that feels almost impossible to overcome. We wanted to create this track as a beacon for those struggling with inner demons, to let them know they are not alone and are supported throughout their journey.'
By releasing 'Float', Seven Hours After Violet aims to provide a much-needed message of hope amidst Mental Health Awareness Month. The band's dedication to using their platform to raise awareness and promote emotional support is commendable.
