Death metal project Gruesome has released a new track titled Condemned Identity. The song is part of their upcoming album Silent Echoes, scheduled for release on June 6th via Relapse Records.
Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey discussed the song as follows:
"Condemned Identity was a no-brainer as the leadoff track for the record as it comes out of the gate at full-strength, putting all of our cards on the table. I mean, yeah its more articulate and musical than what weve done before, but its still very much death metal, which Im very happy about. Even though were incorporating more sophisticated stuff, we can still rip your face off."
This latest release sees Gruesome continuing to pay homage to the legendary Floridian band Death, while pushing the boundaries of their own unique sound.
