Shadows Unveil Haunting Soundscape with Debut Album 'Miseria', Set to Release on August 29th


Shadows, a formidable force in the blackened death metal realm, is poised to make its mark with the release of its debut album "Miseria" on August 29th.

Comprising members from both Germany and Sweden, this formidable collective boasts former members from iconic acts such as Visceral Bleeding, The Berzerker, Enshrined, and Ominous.
Shadows was born in 2021 by guitarist and vocalist Dejan Milenkovits as a solo venture during the pandemic lockdown.
Initially conceived as a handful of tracks recorded in early 2022, Shadows evolved organically over time, attracting talented musicians to contribute its sonic tapestry.
Finnish drummer Filip Gddns joined forces with Dejan Milenkovits to record drums for the album, rendering it full-bodied and immersive. Swedish vocalist Mathias Lodmalm lent his expertise as co-producer,

The creative process was marked by collaboration and growth, as Shadows transcended its solo-rooted beginnings to emerge as a cohesive unit on the cusp of forming its definitive lineup.
In early 2025, Shadows welcomed drummer Jol Cirera and guitarist Martin Bermheden
to the fold, both erstwhile members of Dejan Milenkovits past projects. The trio was subsequently strengthened by the addition of Andreas Holm on bass, solidifying the permanent lineup.
