Biohazard, the iconic hardcore/metal/rap fusion group, has officially released their highly anticipated single 'Forsaken', marking their first new track in over ten years.
The legendary band filmed a music video for the song in March at the Melkweg in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei taking on directorial duties. Although 'Forsaken' has been performed live by the band more than a dozen times, the studio version is now available for streaming on YouTube and Spotify.
The song serves as the lead single from Biohazard's forthcoming tenth studio album, with an official release date yet to be announced. According to Graziadei, 'Forsaken' represents three years of intense touring following a successful reunion, which eventually led to the creation of this new record.
'What started as three reunion shows turned into unstoppable nights on stage,' said Graziadei. 'Now we're back with a new record that hits with all the classic Biohazard energy, louder and harder than ever.'
'We shot this video in Amsterdam at Melkweg, an iconic venue where Biohazard first made our mark in Europe in the late '80s and '90s,' added bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld. 'It's really organic, and a little sample of the energy of our first new album in 15 years, performed in a live setting. Get ready for some real mayhem when our new album drops!'
