Dark Angel is set to return to Europe and will kick off The Darkness Descends Tour, a tour that will showcase the band's classic album in its entirety on select dates. This nod to memory honors Jim Durkin.
The current lineup of Dark Angel features members of the classic era, including drummer Dave McClain Hoglan and guitarist Eric Meyer; bassist Mike Gonzalez, vocalist Ron Rinehart, and new addition Laura Christine, who first joined the band in 2022. According to Hoglan, 'I'm really excited about Dark Angel right now,' adding that those familiar with their latest release are experiencing unbridled enthusiasm from fans.
The upcoming Extinction Level Event was produced and engineered by Rob Shallcross at The Armoury Studios in Vancouver, BC, while being mixed by renowned producer Mike Fraser for notable bands such as AC/DC, Metallica, and Rush.
