Korn Reissues See You On The Other Side B-Side Track as It Approaches 20th Anniversary
Korn has celebrated the approaching 20th anniversary of its seventh studio album, See You On The Other Side. To commemorate this milestone, the band presented a reissue on both digital and vinyl formats. Notably, the previously unreleased b-side track Last Legal Drug (Le Petit Mort) from the See You On The Other Side sessions has been officially made available for streaming for the first time.
In terms of artistic significance, See You On The Other Side marked several key transformations in Korns career. It was their initial album without guitarist Brian Head Welch, who embarked on a journey to address addiction and explore his faith. Furthermore, this record also signified the bands departure from Epic/Immortal Records, as they transitioned to Virgin Records.
Despite varied critical assessments, See You On The Other Side experienced considerable commercial success. Following its initial launch in December 2005, the album garnered a gold certification mere months later and achieved platinum status by March 2006. This pivotal moment highlighted Korns perseverance amidst shifting circumstances.
