Biography

1000 Travels of Jawaharlal, as its name does not indicate, comes from western Japan and produces an overvitamined punk rock inspired by sizes like Jawbreaker, Rites of Spring or Leatherface. In 1999, the band released its first EP, Letter, on ImoMushi Records. The latter will soon be followed the following year by a split album with Minority Blues Band on the same label. In May 2000, the trio self-produced a second split album alongside Bowfura. In April 2001, the drummer left the ship and it took them almost six months to find a suitable replacement. The new line-up established, the trio embarks on an impressive number of concerts allowing them to gain a certain reputation. Their first album, Owari Wa Konai , was released in 2003 on ImoMusgi Records in Japan and Day After in Europe, where a tour will be organized shortly thereafter. Relations with Europe intensified in 2004 through the release of a split with the excellent Aghast , Tarbes-damaged emo punk group. 1000 Travels of Jawaharlal will also go to the USA for weapons thanks to a series of concerts with Light The Fuse and Run.
