1000Mods

1000mods is a Greek Stoner Rock band. They come from the small town of Chileomódi (where the group takes its name, "chillia" meaning 1000) and formed in 2006. After two EP the band recorded its first album with Billy Anderson (who worked for Sleep , Neurosis , Melvins , ...) that they released in 2011. Making a name on the European stage, the band continues the festivals dedicated to Stoner (Desertfest, Lake on Fire, ...). In 2014 the band released its second album, Vultures , on The Lab Records followed 2 years later by Reperated Exhibition To.. . on Ouga Booga and Mighty Oug Recordings. After a change of guitarist in 2024 the band released a new Cheat Death album on Ripple Music.
