30 Seconds To Mars

30 seconds to March is born in 1997 in California, there are Jared Leto (a actor seen in Requiem For A Dream , Fight Club , Panic Room , Lord Of War , American Psycho , ...) and his brother Shannon Leto. The demos had already brought up the buzz, all with Jared's growing notoriety and it was in 2002 that their first eponymous album (long-awaited due to Jared's busy schedule) was released. The band plays a metal lorging on the neo, but with very successful melodic passages, we think of bands like Korn , Orgy or Pink Floyd (by the way Bob Erzin, producer for the latter, who takes care of this album). After almost a year in the studio, the band resurfaced on August 30, 2005 with its new album A Beautiful Lie , which will disappoint a lot of people, more conventional it remains nonetheless friendly. A new marathon tour then began alongside their compatriots of The Used . In 2008, 30 Seconds to Mars faced Virgin. The label accuses the group of not complying with its contract which commits it to 3 albums. Since then, 30 Seconds To Mars has returned to the studio, Jared Leto alternating between music and cinema ( Lord Of War, Alexandre, Mr. Nobody, ...), to record This Is War, released in December 2009.
