7 Weeks
Biography
7 Weeks, or just 7 weeks between the band's formation in 2006 and its entry into the studio for the recording of its first EP. Fast, efficient and going straight to the goal, a machine that begins to pierce on the stage stoner / post grunge since after 2 EP, a first album (All channels off ) greeted by the critic and a surprising successor, sort of unofficial BO of Bob Clark's film "Dead Of Night", the limougeauds continue their roadman without ever turning around, always moving forward. Wild as a Fu Manchu, with a sound worked at the Queens of the Stone Age and gliding atmospheres, 7 Weeks imposes by its style and becomes a sure value of the genre, which have been understood by internationally renowned artists with whom they have shot such as Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Placebo, Brant Bjork, Mass Hysteria or Lofofora and No One is Innocent. The band released its third album in 2013 ( Carnivora ), followed by EP Bends in 2014, both hailed by critics. Following the fourth long in 2016, At Farewell To Dawn, this time hosted by Overpowered Records, we will note a new line-up change that will see two new guitarists disembark, one with a keyboard under his arm. It is therefore in this new form that the album Sisyphus will be released in 2020, distributed by F2M Planet.
