From March to September, they multiply appearances in Yokohama until the release of a self-produced EP in October, Talking Machine. To promote it, they play concerts outside their training city.
In '05, 9mm Parabellum Bullet is made a name that attracts producer Kono and the indie label Zankyo Record. On December 8, the first Gjallarhorn mini-album was released, taking three of the four tracks of Talking Machine. After two months of tour that end in February at Shimokitazawa Shelter.
On September 9 '06 released their second mini-album Phantomime which is accompanied by a DVD containing the clips of "(tenage) Disastar" and "Talking Machine". To mark the release of this CD, 9mm Parabellum Bullet gives a concert in the La. Mama room in Shibuya. The end of the year saw the band play alongside Dragon Ash , Acidman , Straightener or Asian Kung-Fu Generation and play the first game of Radwimps at the Zepps of Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo.
In February 2007, 9mm Parabellum Bullet followed the prestigious festivals and played at Shinkiba Studio Coast, Punkspring (NOFX , Jimmy Eat World ...), Rock in Japan Fes., Summer Sonic ( Arctic Monkeys , Klaxons ...), Sweet Love Shower... The band released a new EP on 16 May for their major at Capitol / EMI. It contains seven songs but only two unpublished, the others being only new tracks recordings of their previous mini-albums. An appetizer before their first real album released on November 14 and placed in tenth place at the Oricon (Japanese charts).
At the beginning of 2008, the band began its first solo tour and released a single, one of which was one of the tracks used by the anime Real Drive Sennou caulisashitsu . The summer saw them participate in the annual Nano-Mugen Festival organized by Asian Kung-Fu Generation and release a second album, Vampire , on October 15; or less than 11 months after the date of the previous release. In the middle of its 2008/2009 VAMPIRE TOUR, the group announces the release of its first DVD. Entitled Act I , it is a double DVD which includes videos of the concerts of 18 October 2008 at Hibiya Yaon, 28 December at Zepp Tky and 16 June 2007 at Shinjuku LOFT. On the occasion of this release the band gives a free concert at Yoyogi Park where he plays a new song entitled "Black Market Blues" which turns out to be his next single released on 3 June '09. This single also offers the audio recording of this concert as a B side.
The quartet, strangely nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2009 at the end of May, will leave its mark on the event and the audience little accustomed to voiceless rock after its performance rich in larsen.
