A Canorous Quintet

A Canorous Quartet formed in 1991 in Sweden around Fredrik Andersson (guitar until 1993, then battery), Linus Nirbrant (guitar) and Mårten Hansen (voice), before becoming A Canorous Quintet in 1993, following the evolution of the number of members. The line-up stabilized in 1994 with the arrival of Jesper Löfgren on bass and Leo Pignon on guitar. It was under this configuration that they released the EP As Tears in 1995, followed by Silence Of The World Beyond in 1996 and The Only Pure Hate in 1998. The group split in 1999, but the members will meet in 2005 to form This Ending . However, it takes a few more years for A Canorous Quintet to become more current, with the release of the EP Reflections Of The Mirror in 2012 and the compilation The Quintessence in 2013. However, it was not until 2016, following the change of line-up of This Ending, that the band officially reformed, performing on stage under its original name. Alive From The World Beyond is announced for January 2018.
