Originally from France, A Vanishing Self's anonymous artists set themselves the goal of reviving the 90's of metal, and especially the neo metal in Korn's vein. A risky bet seen the fame of style in the middle, but totally assumed. According to one of the musicians, A Vanishing Self's first goal is to enjoy himself. The anonymity of the band members represents their desire to put the music ahead of their image.
