Aabsinthe

It was in the form of a trio that Aabsinthe (then called Advent) was born in 2001. Then very influenced by the melodic death in Sweden, the band decided to enrich its music and recruited two other members, including Romain on the keyboard. The Stéphanois then won a number of first games (Winds Of Torment , Destinity , etc.) and decided to tackle the composition of a first real album, The Loss Of Illusions , which will be available in 2005. The latter allows the band to shoot with bands like Gojira , Dew Scented or Manimal and on the other hand, to sign on Rupture Records. In May 2006, the label released a new version of The Loss Of Illusions, more focused on the progressive and acoustic aspects developed by Aabsinthe. Only one year after the release of this first opus, the band recidivism with In Search Of Light.
