Absolutist

Consisting of the three Irish Shea (Guitare / Chant), Callum (Basse / Chant) and Oliver (Battery), Absolutist formed at the end of 2010 in Aberdeen (Scotland) where the three members met on the benches of the university. Enjoying their school holidays, they quickly recorded a first EP, Blasphemy, followed a year later by an album, Ave. Following short formats, the group released two splits in 2013, one with Abest, the other with Link before returning in 2015 with an EP titled Traverse. Very influenced by their compatriots in Drainland and Bacchus, Absolutist pushed back each of their productions, the Crust limits by incorporating Post-Rock and Sludge elements to their sound.
