Absurdity

Formed in late 2001 in Strasbourg and gradually abandoning the death/trash influences of his early Absurdity today incorporates sampling into his more metal/hardcore-oriented compositions. The band has just recorded Urban Strife at ISR Studio, a 7-track mcd scheduled for release in September 2007. Following the release in 2003 of the first demo Decline Of The Human Condition and despite many changes of Line-up, Absurdity has already performed at numerous concerts throughout France and Europe, notably alongside Gojira, 25 Ta Life, Eyeless, Arkangel, Dew Scented, Benighted and Kronos and Obscenity. The band has been enriched by a new guitarist since March 2007 and played this summer at the Red Alert Fest in Ukraine alongside Vader, Suffocation and Immolation. He is also at the origin of the association collective "A-Lärm" which organizes and produces numerous shows in the east of France. Since the release of D:\evolution in March 2011, the band has signed with Ultimhate Records, for a European and Japanese reissue of the record, participated in the biggest festivals ( Hellfest, Motocultor ...) will make several tours in Europe (Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, Italy...) including one opening of Immolation . After 1 month back in Budapest, the band returned in 2014 with a second album, Undestructible, with the participation on the record of Julien Truchan, frontman of Benighted and Shawter of Dagoba.
