Abyssal Ascendant

Founded in September 2012 by Flo (chant-guitar) and Fanny (bass-backings), the Abyssal Ascendant group takes its roots in Lovecraftian mythology and the Death Metal of the 90s ( Morbid Angel, Immolation, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Morgoth ...). Starting with a battery programmed to ensure tempo, managed by Seb "BLT909", the training will take place on three dates, and in October 2013 will release its first six-track album, in free digital release, and recorded, mixed and mastered by BLT909 in DIY, entitled Unleashing the Outer Plagues. Six dark Death Metal songs with varied rhythms, ranging from abyssal slowness to aggressive blasts, and whose lyrics stage cosmic abominations, rituals to the Great Ancients, violent encounters between Man and entities that transcend his mind and cause him to sink into madness. It is then that the duo will meet Raùl at the end of 2013, who will join them in the drums, for a more organic and more fierce rendering on stage. The trio from Franche-Comté and Alsace will then make some dates during the first half of 2014, especially with groups like Mercyless, Pestifer ...
Continuing in their concept "Cthulhu Mythos Death Metal", Abyssal Ascendant released his first album in 2015 at Dolorem Records, to perpetuate the chronicles of the Great Ancients, and invoke a putrid tide under the rule of the stars.
