The pioneer of the genre, the quintet nevertheless stands out by a sensitivity to the flower of skin that will become more and more present over its six (short) years of existence to reach its peak on their second and ultimate disc Paegan Terrorism Tactics. Bristled by the death of Audie Pitre in 1997 when he was hit by a drunken driver while driving with his brother, Acid Bath will not survive this tragic incident and will split the same year considering that the group could no longer be without its bassist. Reunited for a time with Agents of Oblivion , a direct extension - in addition to Rock - of their first group, the association of Sanchez and Riggs nevertheless will not pass the course of the year 2000. Dax Riggs will not, however, remain there and will form a solo Deadboy&the Elephantmen before definitely moving away from his roots to embark on a career on his behalf in 2007. Sammy Stone Duet has since been credited to him at Goatwhore or Crowbar. Jimmy Kyle hasn't been seen behind a kit since the end of Acid Bath.
