Acid Mammoth

Acid Mammoth was formed in 2015 in Athens by Chris Babalis junior (Guitare / Chant) and Dimosthenis Varikos (Basse), friends since college. They are soon joined by Chris Bablis senior (Guitare) and Marios Louvaris (Batterie). At the end of 2016, the quartet recorded its first eponymous album that will be released on bandcamp in October 2017. After barely the first listening of their second record, Under Acid Hoof, the Heavy Psycho Sounds Records label decides to sign them, allowing the band to release the disc in physical format. The band used the various confinements of 2020 in Greece to record a split with 1782 and work on its third album, Caravan , which was released in March 2021. Acid Mammoth offers a Stoner Doom inspired by both the precursors of the genre (Black Sabbath , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple ) and the great current names of this scene (Winhand , Monolord , Cough ...).
