Biography

Acyl was born in Algeria in 2007 around Amine and Reda, who played respectively in the bands Mass and Worth, quickly joined by Salah and Michael, drummer of Myst. After an EP Angel's Sin in 2010 and a first album Algebra in 2012, the band saw its line-up stabilize with the arrival of Adber'Rahman (ex- Arkan , ex- Dawn Of Decline ) on guitars. Now based in Paris, Acyl plays music at the crossroads of Prog Metal, Groove Metal and Experimental, embellishing his compositions with many traditional instruments such as bendir, guellal, derbouka, guembri, qraqeb, oud, mandol, guesba, udu, tar... Their second album, Aftermath , was released on June 16, 2016 by Season Of Myst.
