Biography

The neo-metal band Adema was formed in 2000 by Mark Chavez (song), Kris Kohls (battery), Tim Fluckey (guitar), Mike Ransom (guitar) and Dave DeRoo (bass). At the end of 2000 the band sent demos to the label Arista and soon ended up signing a contract. It should be noted that Mark Chavez is the half-brother of Jonathan Davis (Korn ), and that Kris Kohls and Tim Fluckey have officiated at Sex Art , the former frontman's band of Korn , this is probably what helped them sign so quickly. Anyway, the band released quite quickly in 2001 an eponymous album well received by the critics, and in 2002 continued with the EP Insomniac's Dream. In 2003 the band released Unstable, a very controversial album due to its 'pop' side, too formatted. At the end of 2003 guitarist Mike Ransom left the band for no reason, and Arista fired the band nicely because of Unstable's failure as the quater leaned on a new album. In July 2004 Adema signed with Earache Records, but a few months after Mark Chavez and Kris Kohls had differences as to how to manage the band, and Mark left Adema to start another band with the guitarist and bassist of Filter . However, the band did not separate and ended up recruiting Luke Caraccioli (Rewind Day ) for singing after a few auditions. In April 2005 Adema released his third album, Planets . But while Adema seemed to be back, Like Caraccioli left the band to join Rewind Yesterday, leaving the other three orphaned members... It was quickly replaced by Bobby Reves (ex-Level ). The band then recorded Kill The Headlights in a more rock recording, which was released in late 2007.
