Adrenaline Mob
Biography
Adrenaline Mob formed in 2011 around Mike Portnoy (who had just stopped working with Dream Theater), Russell Allen (singer of Symphony X), and Mike Orlando (guitarist who had worked with Zakk Wylde and Ron Thal among others). To these three stars are soon added Paul Di Leo (bass - Fozzy) and Rich Ward (guitars - Stuck Mojo , Fozzy). Both will leave the group before recording a first effort. John Moyer ( Disturbed ) joined the combo on bass, and the band decided not to replace the second guitarist and remained a quartet. It is this line-up that releases Omertà in 2012, then Covertà (an EP of covers) piles a year later. Portnoy left the adventure, having no time to get involved. It will be replaced by A.J. Pero ( Twisted Sisters). After the release of Men Of Honor in early 2014, bassist John Moyer throws the sponge, and some time later, the newcomer drummer is found dead in the tour-bus of the band. A new EP later (Dearly Departed, 2015), Adrenaline Mob still separates from their new rhythmic session (Erik Leonhardt on bass and Chad Szeliga on drums). Orlando and Allen were finally joined by David Zablidowsky (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) at the four-string and Jordan Cannata at the drums. This line-up records the band's third album, We The People , released in June 2017.
