Adx
Biography
It was in 1981, in Oise, that ADX's story began. Didier Bouchard (battery) and Hervé Tasson (guitar) crossed the path of Pascal Collobert (guitar) and Frédéric Dechilly (bass) and were joined by Philippe Grelaud in the song. After two EPs, Le Fléau de Dieu et Demo, released in 1984, ADX was noticed and signed a deal with Devils Records for the release of its first album Performance in 1985. The success is at the key, the album puts the imprint of the band (speed metal sung in French, lyrics inspired by the History of France, big guitar melodies...) and the band re-employs in 1986 for its second album, La Téreur, which will have the same spell and will be popular with the press and fans. ADX continues its momentum and in 1987 they gave birth to their third album, Supremacy , which will allow the band to make talk about him abroad (United Kingdom, Netherlands, Japan...). On December 27, 1987, their concert at the Mutualité was recorded and the live album Performance Publique was released in 1988.
ADX continues concerts and festivals alongside Sacred Reich , Coroner , Gamma Ray , Sodom and ends up signing with the German label Noise Records, at which they will release the album Weird Visions in 1991: at the request of the label, the band abandons the song in French, thinking thus to facilitate the conquest in international, but it is the opposite that happens. Fans push the album, sales are far below expectations and ADX, which finds itself without label or management, decides to separate. In 1997, XIII Bis Records reissued the first album of ADX , Performance and a concert was given at the Locomotive for the occasion at the end of the year. In front of their welcome, the band resumed service with a fifth studio album in 1998, Resurrection , and a second live album in 2001, VIII Sentence , which will be released by Axe Killer Records. But ADX marks a new break.
In 2006, the desire to play took over, Didier Bouchard, Pascal Collobert and Philippe Grelaud met with Bernard-Yves Queruel (guitar, ex-Agressor) and Claude Thill (bass) to complete the ranks. After a few concerts, ADX celebrates its 25th anniversary on January 7, 2007 at the Locomotive de Paris alongside Misanthrope , Carnival in Coal , Maladaptive ... and starts a tour in France. ADX released a new album in 2008, entitled Division Shielded , which will quickly be exhausted and repressed. In 2010 the band released its second album re-recorded and remixed as Terreurs . 2011 marks the return to XIII bis Records for the release of the album Immortel . In 2013, Claude Thill left the band and Julien Rousseau replaced him at the bass. At the end of the year the band returned to the studio and Ultimatum was born in February 2014. Spring 2015 marks the arrival of Nicolas Minier (guitar - ex-Yyrkoon ) after the departure of Bernard-Yves Queruel, and will tour with ADX 30 years of execution. In 2016, ADX created its label, Ultim The band is featured in the 3rd edition of the Fall Of Summer which will take place on September 2 and 3, 2016 in Torcy (77).
