Biography

Aeris was formed in 2004 with Manuel Adnot (Sidony Box - Guitar), Samuel Diné (Basse / Chant) and Boris Louvet (L'Effet Défée , Le Dead Projet - Batterie) on board with the intention of playing music that is as much oriented towards modern Jazz as Rock or Metal, leaving the part of improvisations that occupy an important place in the music of the trio nantais. Improvisations that can also be found in the illustrations of the cartoonist Clémence Bourdaud who projects her improvised creations during the concerts. She also makes drawings that illustrate their first eponymous album released in 2009. For three years, Aeris was mainly in the west with Bruxisme , Time For Energy or Ravens in particular and it was in 2013 that the band actually returned under a new line-up with Emerson Paris ( Lemurya ) at bass and Louis Godart ( A Prison Called Earth ) as second guitarist. Their second effort, Temple, comes out at Ex-Tension Records.
