Biography

Alamailman Vasarat (translating "The hammers of hell") was born at the dawn of the 2000s, especially following the end of the career of Höyry-Kone , an emblematic group of the Finnish progressive scene, from which Jarno Sakula, symbolic leader of the band, came. From his first record, the ethnic mix rich in rock energy and jazzy constructions imposed as being unique and totally unclassifiable and grew into the world's best sales for some time. The group itself claims its inspiration as coming from an imaginary continent, Vasaraasia, name of this first record, a peaceful and preserved place full of madness and adventures. Since then, the formation regularly keeps the records by preserving this personality that it refines, its festive and powerful melodicly singular atmospheres, without false steps, always raising its level and maintaining its depth.
