Alestorm

This group of moussaillons, created in 2004, was based as Battleheart until 2007. It was at the time of signing a contract with the Napalm Records label that they were asked to change their surname because it was too close to Battlelore, the Finnish combo signed on the same label. Having already released two eps under their former name, Alestorm released his first album in 2008, Captain Morgan's Revenge , dealing with the famous privateer Henry Morgan (1637 - 1688). The band proclaims playing the "True Scottish Pirate Metal", a fairly significant designation of their Power Metal in the marine air and their words worthy of Pirates of the Caribbean. That same year, the young sailors recorded an ep, Leviathan, and then a split with Týr and Heidevolk: Black Sails Over Europe. From the following year, our Scots with a wooden leg rose anchor again for a second album, Black Sails At Midnight.
