Alexisonfire was formed in 2001 in Ontario, Canada. After a few essays, the quintet reveals in 2003 a first eponymous album. He received a very good echo in his home country, which did not leave indifferent Equal Vision Records (Coheed & Cambria , The Snake The Cross The Crown ). A year later, Canadians put the cover back on, Watch Out! Mixing, at its habit, a subtle hardcore post, tinted with metal, a little like Thrice. During 2005, the combo will participate in a Split Ep with .moneen. , while Dallas Green will release a first effort, solo, under this entity that is City & Colour . In 2006, AOF launched its third full lenght: Crisis .
