Biography

Matt Skiba: Chant/Guitare Mike Felumlee: Battery/Chant Dan Andriano: Bass/Chant
When the former drummer of Jerkwater, in the event Matt Skiba, drops his sticks to take the microphone, we hope that success will be at the rendezvous, like the Foo Fighters. Accompanied by a former member of 88 Fingers Louie, namely Glenn Porter, and Rob Doran on bass, here we are in the presence of one of the most intense bands on the punk scene: Alkaline Trio. Just time to release end '97 the EP For Your Lungs, and the band sees Rob's departure, replaced by the bassist Slapstick, Dan Andriano. The band took off and released its first album, Goddamnit, in '98. In early 2000, Maybe I'll Catch Fire was born, followed very closely by a collection of singles. New start, this time it is Glenn Porter, who is replaced by Mike Felumlee of the Smoking Popes. The trio joined the House of Vagrant ( Dashboard Confessional , Moneen ) in 2001, and released From Here to Infirmary , probably their biggest success. A little rest, and the band goes back to the studio to lay us, two years later, Good Mourning. Then it gets cyclical, and we're back two years later, this time in 2005, with Crimson's vagrant release.
