Biography
Benni - Chant/Basse Hendrik - Batterie Flo - Chant/Guitare Julian - Chant/Guitare
A young band from Münster, Alpinist recorded his first demo, ten tracks in September/October 2007. Already very mature musically, the band released a split ep in June 2008 with Finisterre , another German crust band, via the labels Sengaja Records, Contrazt! Records, Bad Pingue, Threat Of Today, Humilidad Y Honestidad, Phobiac Records and Subversive Ways. This resulted in a European tour with more than sixty concerts during the summer. The quartet recorded its first album, Minus Mensch , in February 2009. The exit, in cooperation with Contraszt! Records, Phobiact Records and Alerta Antifascista, first scheduled in May, will be done with a month late, the band being not satisfied with the realization. Alpinist then devoted the following months to the concerts and played with Sand Creek Massacre , Patsy O'Hara , The Now-Denial , Planks , Finisterre , Cobretti , Edelweiss Piraten , Trainwreck , Comadre , Celeste , Hammers , Reflections Of Internal Rain , also participating in numerous festivals (Cry Me The River Fest, New Noise Fest, Keep It Evil). Minus Mensch was repressed in August 2010 while the band recorded its second album at Die Tonmeisterei in Oldenburg before leaving in September for a tour in Eastern Europe. Lichtlaerm released in October via Phobiact Records and Vendetta Records. Alpinist then made concerts on tour and after the release of a split with Masakari in July 2011 (Alerta Antifascista, Halo Of Flies), flew away in August for a U.S. Revenue tour in Europe, the band continued on its frantic pace until a new tour with Masakari, this time in Europe. At the end of August, the Germans announced the group's sleep for an indefinite time.
