Biography

Altar Of Plagues comes from Ireland, located more precisely in Cork. Under a continuously changing line-up, the band released a first demo, First Plague in 2006, and then chained with two EPs in 2007 and 2008, respectively named Through The Cracks Of The Earth and Sol, winning in reputation as records and concerts progressed. White Tomb released their first album in April 2009 at Profound Lore Records, confluenced with several musical styles such as Black Metal, the Sludge see Post-Rock. A busy year followed for the band with the departure of guitarist Jeremiah Spillane, the signature at Candlelight Record and the release of the EP Tides in 2010 and the album Mammal in 2011. Then a new line-up change occurred with the replacement of drummer S. MacAnri by Johnny King for the composition of their album Teeshed Glory And Injury , radically different from their discography past and released in April 2013. Unfortunately, two months later they announced their separation. According to singer James Kelly, it was just time to move on, but he continues to work within his WIFE project.
