Amalthea

It was in 2004 that four long-time friends decided to form Amalthea . At first, the Swedish were a chaotic hardcore in the vein of Orchid but quickly incorporated post-rock elements into their music. In 2005 a first 7 inches was released on Ape Must Not Kill Ape Records. The following year they shared a split with the Germans of Only For The Sake Of Aching on the same label. In 2007, moving away from their influences (Orchid , Yaphet Kotto ), Amalthea took the lead in the first album: Decision Should Be A Desert, Bright And Clear . Photo of the group by Julienxxx
