
Amaseffer
Biography
Amaseffer of the Hebrew "Am Ha'Sefer", term to describe the Israeli people in the Old Testament, was formed in 2004 by drummer and percussionist Erez Yohanan and guitarist Yuval Kramer. The two musicians already make up the band's first titles and hire a second guitarist, Hanan Avramovich, a year later. The singer Andy Kuntz joined them in 2006 but remained for only one year in the band due to lack of availability and was shortly after replaced by Mats Leven who had already worked for Therion or Yngwie Malmsteem . It was in 2008 that Amaseffer released his first album Exodus - Slaves For Life , the first episode of a trilogy on the Hebrew exodus according to the Old Testament. The band plays a Progressive Metal with Eastern influences.
