Biography
Carl-Johan - Claes Battery - Chant Frederik - Basse Mattias - Guitare Ulf - Guitar Hardcore band straight edge formed in 2007, Anchor consists of five members, Swedish and Norwegian, from The Smackdown, Balance, Dead Vows, Damage Control and Set My Path. In 2007, the band recorded an ep 7" titled Captivity Songs (Refoundation Records and Catalyst Records). In June 2008, Anchor released his first album, The Quiet Dance , via Catalyst Records. He was followed in July by a 7" split with The Kind That Kills (Monument Records). In 2009, the band produced an ep four tracks, Relations Of Violence (Refuse Records) and a compilation entitled First Year (Self True Records). A second compilation, The Singles Collected , was released in December 2010 at State Of Mind Records. It was in June 2011, after more than 300 concerts, two tours in North America and a line-up change, that Anchor presented his second album, Recovery , recorded at Bengt studio in Lund (Sweden), in co-production with Let It Burn Records, React! Records, Refuse Records, Pee Records and Vegan Records.
