Shortly after her release, Philip and Stefan died tragically. Despite the loss of these two founding members, Ancient Rites decided to continue the adventure. The roadie Walter Van Cortenberg then replaced Stephan with the battery. Johan then made the decision to leave the group. He was replaced by guitarists Pascal and Bart Vandereycken. With this training, the group recorded the EP Evil Prevails, as well as their various CD splits. In 1994 released the band's first studio album, T he Diabolic Senerades, which was followed two years later by the album Blasfemia Eternal. In 1998 the album Fatherland was released, then in 2001 Dim Carcosa. Most of the year 2005 has passed for the band to compositions of songs for their album Rubicon , which was released in 2006. Then it is the silence almost total, it is necessary to wait until 2015 to see Ancient Rites produce an album, Laguz, which is incensed by the various critics and highly appreciated by fans.
