Biography
Conrad Keely - singing, guitar Jason Reece - drums Kevin Allen - guitar Aaron Ford – drums Jay Phillips – bass Clay Morris – piano The musical association between Jason Reece and Conrad Keely was founded in 1994 in Hawaii. The duo then moved to Olympia (Washington), where Reece had already worked with Mukilteo Fairies, and then to Austin (Texas), where he officially took the name And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. The band was completed by Neil Busch (bass) and Kevin Allen (guitar). Under this formation, the band quickly forged a reputation and released its first album on the label Trance Records in 1998, followed by Madonna a year later. In 2001, Trail Of Dead made the big jump and chose Major Interscope Records from which were published the albums Sources, Tags And Codes (2002) and Worlds Apart (2005) on which the quartet became a trio following the departure of Neil Busch. In late 2007, Trail Of Dead returned to Europe to promote So Divided . But a dispute with Interscope results in a breach of contract. Texans entered the studio without a label in 2008. The experience is reported in a documentary. In 2009, Trail Of Dead released its sixth album, The Century Of Self.
