AndMarkHer formed in 2002 in the land of the Levant Sun, released a first demo the following year, and participated in two editions of the Far East Coats compilation alongside bands such as Oceanlane , Stuck Inside , Sunset Flip , Tribal Chair etc. 2004 will see their participation in a second compilation, entitled 26 experiences , this time with Nervous Light of Sunday , Buddhiston , before releasing a year later their very first single: "The Seagulls Skimmed the Waves". Title from their first full release in 2005 by Evol Records ( Sunsgrind , Tribute to LastDaysOfApril ), Tuning Every Moment ; That same year, the combo will appear on the tracklisting of another compilation, A Crucible at the Small State, with again the NLOS, as well as Endzweck, Onsa, Umbra and the Natsumen. A career that continues until 2007 with their stage debut at Shelter .
