Angus Mcsix

Angus McSix is a band from Power / Heavy Metal Symphony led by Thomas Laszlo Winkler, former singer of Gloryhammer. In 2021 he was fired from the group after criticizing the racist and sexist comments made by his former comrades in a Whatsapp conversation. Following this event, Thomas was quickly contacted by Sebastian Levermann ( Oden Organ ) to set up a new musical project in the same fantasy line already exploited by the vocalist. They will be joined by Thalia Bellazecca (ex Frozen Crown) and Manu Lotter ( Rhapsody Of Fire) and the name Angus McSix will be chosen quite naturally. The goal? To be able to continue to tell the story of Scottish prince Angus McFife, supposedly dead in battle in the last pieces of Gloryhammer recorded by Thomas. The quartet released its first album, Angus McSix And The Sword Of Power, running 2023 via Napalm Records and the reception was unanimous. In the first week, the opus was placed in tenth place on the German charts and twenty-fourth place on the English-speaking Rock and Metal charts.
