Anita Drake

Located at the crossroads of a Tom Waits , Rolling Stones or Raveonettes , the French Blues/Rock duo from Paris formed in 2012. Anita Drake is romanticism tinted with eroticism, Dorothée Pierson a suave voice and Manuel Cortell of the flutte melodies, a kind of musical spleen that Charles Baudelaire could have described as "Malhappy perhaps the man, but happy the artist whom desire tears!" . Since the diptych expanded to become a band, he is joined by Peter Combard on guitar, Joel White on chorus and keyboard, and Paul Mablot on drums, their first effort Lady Vine an EP 4 tracks is born in early 2013.
