Antaeus

Originally, Antaeus is the parralèle project of Tragos Adein , created in 1994, which consists of MKM singing, Piat (aka Antaeus) guitar and A bass. Laché by A, who devoted himself exclusively to Blut Aus Nord, the band recorded a few cassettes that already laid the foundations of the formation, a dark, raw, inaudible and brutal Black Metal. Following changes of line-up that will disrupt the group's progress, but beginning in 1995, Storm (Battery) and Kheer (Basse) will bring some stability to the group that was released in 1996 Supremacist Dawn, which will be boycotted by the distributors. Due to internal problems, Set replaces Piat. After two years of silence, the band returned in 1998 with the group Eternal Majesty and released a split. A year later, Rekordin 2000-1 was born, and this ep helped Antaeus to establish his position as the leading band of the French Black Metal scene, despite the many criticisms that the band had been wiped out since the beginning of its career. Shortly afterwards, Cut Your Flesh And Worship Satan released under the label Baphomet Records. Recognition soon came, the group even pierced in the United States. The band still leaves the label and signs with Osmose. In 2002, De Principii Evangelikum was born. Big bomb, good reviews and some concerts in France and the United States... The band shoves a little more the nail with the ep Rot and recently Blood Libels which benefits from excellent production, far from the first cassettes of its beginnings. Antaeus toured with Secrets Of The Moon in 2006 before stopping concerts in France and Europe, following problems with the organizers.
